Meet and tranfer to Mayfair Hotel for check in and briefing. Overnight based on bed and breakfast.
After breakfast transfer to Wilson airport for domestic flight from Nairobi to the dry semi-desert area of Samburu Game Reserve. On arrival met by a guide/driver of the lodge, game drive en-route for lunch at the exclusive Samburu Ashnil Camp/ elephant bedroom camp. Afternoon spent free to be followed by 16.00hrs game drive ,Samburu national reserve derives its name from the Samburu people of Kenya who have lived in the area for many years.The Uaso Nyiro River cuts through this reserve,drawing a big population of animals to the park and bustles with activity from its huge population of Nile crocodile.The reserve's topography is mainly open
savannah (grassland) with clusters of acacia trees, forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation.Samburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists George and Joy Adamson raised

Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie "Born Free".Samburu’s beauty is of its own kind and with no comparrison to any other park in regards to animal species found here, namely the oryx, grevy zebras and Gerenuk (giraffe gazeles) herds of elephants with their daily bathing ritual in the river! To mention just a few.This Park has year-round temperatures between 20-35 degrees. Afternoon game drive (16.00hrs) and back to the lodge before dark to watch the sunset with a drink at the banks of Uso nyiro, dinner and overnight at Samburu Ashnil Camp or elephant bedroom camp.

After an early (06.00hrs) cup of tea / coffee, short morning game drive, and then return for a full breakfast. Long morning game drives in the park are not common; however the wild animals and other creatures look for shadow from the high temperature of the day while human being cool at the pool . Morning and afternoon game drives with all meals at the Samburu Ashnil Camp / elephant bedroom camp.

After breakfast depart by road to Sweetwater’s Tented Camp, situated inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy with activities such as: game watching, night game drives and horse riding (excl). Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is host to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts Jane Goodall's chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. The luxury tents are set around a water hole, and game viewing from the porch of your tent, of the wildlife traffic to the water hole. 15.00hrs game drives in the conservancy and back at sunset to the camp for dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

An early game drive and breakfast, easy transfer to Mount Kenya airstrip for a flight to Masai Mara. On arrival met by a driver/guide, game drive en-route to camp for check in and lunch. The reserve is especially famous for the high amount of predators, such as lions and cheetah, and the 1.5 million wildebeest which migrate through the Mara and cross the crocodile infested Mara River. The Maasai Mara National Reserve (also spelt Masai Mara) was established in 1948; it is approximately 1500sq. kms in size and adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti. Probably Kenya’s number one tourist destination it holds spectacular scenery as well as vast amounts of bird and wildlife. The Reserve is famous for its huge herds of Wildebeest and Zebra which migrate through Maasai Mara from the Serengeti around June-October each year. It is a reserve not a national park meaning it is totally unfenced and is run by the local county rather than the national Government. At 1500hrs, start the game drive to return before dusk at Ashnil mara tented camp / Ilkeliani for dinner and overnight.

Start a day with an early (before breakfast) game drive a good time to see cats active and other game animals,later back for breakfast. Easy check out and game driving to the airstrip for am flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, and depending on the next destination, transfer or drop off at your location. In case of flying and depending with your flight timing, there is an option of day room and transfer to the airport.
