A fabulous safari famous for the yearly migration of over a million Wildebeest & Zebra with a wide range of wildlife to be spotted including the Big Five, variety of plain good game, and a host of predators roaming freely in the expansive untamed reserve, have a chance to experience and enjoy the stunning Maasai culture, tradition and way of life.

Maasai Mara is Kenya’s arguably most famous reserve, rich in flora and fauna diversity, fulfilling the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscape for the BIG game. The Mara River is the natural barrier for the migrating heard having marched across Serengeti in Tanzania to Kenya’s Maasai Mara in search of pasture, crossing en-route the dangerous crocodile infested Mara River, coupled with ever watchful predatory cats in their midst, the annual migration is a risky affair and fraught with peril. Morning, evening and full day game drives through the Mara reserve gives you a chance of spotting diverse array of wildlife including elephants, giraffe, black rhino, cheetah, gazelle, buffalo, hippo, various other herbivores and bird species.

DAY 1: AIRPORT – MAASAI MARA

Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met and welcomed by LiReise team, escorted to your waiting safari van, briefed on the days’ program before setting off to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, via the great scenes of the Rift valley, a stop-over at the view point, for viewing and photography, arrive at the lodge on time for lunch. Embark on an evening game drive, searching for the Big Five among others in plenty, return for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Breakfast, then set-off for a full day game drive with your packed lunches, offers a great chance to spot diverse array of good game the park is well known for, visit the banks of river Mara, the crossing point during the migration period, later you can opt to visit a Maasai cultural homestead at an extra cost and your driver/guide will assist you in negotiating the fee with the Maasai elder, enjoy their colorful culture, songs and dance, later return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

On this day, another option of a full day game drive, exploring the park vast wilderness with variety of wild game to be spotted including the Big Five among others, return back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI / AIRPORT

Breakfast then depart to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch, then proceed to the Airport to catch up your flight back home
