Air safari has been a preferred for many especially those who may not wish to take long drives as is less tiring because some sections on the road can be muddy, bumpy roads or rough terrain thus taking long than anticipated thus opting to fly in-order to reach destination much faster. 2 days / 1 night Air safari offers one two game drives, which can be good enough to spot diverse array of Big game in the greater Maasai Mara national Park and game reserve with which its well known for!

Maasai Mara is Kenya’s arguably the most famous and top of the cream with virtually every wildlife is to be spotted thus fulfilling the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscape for the BIG 5. Each year Mara plays host to the great wildebeest and zebra, over a million trekking thousands of miles with predators hot on their heels, enroute they cross over the dangerous crocodile infested Mara River coupled with ever watchful predatory cats in the midst. Morning and evening game drives through the Mara reserve gives one a greater chance of spotting diverse array of wildlife including elephants, giraffe, black rhino, cheetah, gazelle, buffalo, hippo, and the black manned lions which the park is mostly known for plus various other herbivores and bird species.

DAY 1: HOTEL / PLACE OF STAY – MAASAI MARA

Picked up and depart to the airport to catch you flight to Maasai Mara, arrive at the airstrip and picked by your driver/guide, a mini game drive en-route to your lodge, be on the look-out for the plenty game on the way, arrive at the lodge check-in and settle for a hearty lunch.
Time is then spent at leisure, later embark on an evening game drive, perfect time as most wildlife will be out from heat of the day, should luck be on your side spotting either a lion, hyena, leopard or cheetah making a kill as you continue to search for the plenty game, return back for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MAASAI MARA – HOTEL / PLACE OF STAY

Begin the day with early morning game drive, fantastic time as most wildlife will be out feeding others making a kill as your search for the Big five the park is widely known for among other species of wildlife, return back and settle for breakfast. Time is yet again spent at leisure followed by lunch, afterwards check-out and transferred to the airstrip to catch up your return flight back.
