In the early morning we are waiting for you at your beach hotel. The route of about 150 km takes you north. You cross the dry Taru desert, pass a thorn bush savannah with baobab trees and extensive sisal plantations before you meet the huge area of the Tsavo. You will be welcomed to your accommodation on time for lunch. From the restaurant, the terrace or your room you can watch the large water hole, which serves as drinking trough for elephants, antelopes, zebras, buffalos and many other animals. You have probably already discovered the famous red elephants of Tsavo, which powder themselves with laterite-colored earth to protect themselves against the burning sun and annoying vermin. On the afternoon game drive, explore the region and try to find big game or big cats.

In the morning after breakfast and a game drive, you gradually leave the protected area and drive along the Tanzanian border into the Amboseli National Park. On the way, make a stop in Oloitokitok - with the best view of the highest free-standing mountain on earth. After arriving at the camp, enjoy lunch and then have the opportunity to take a dip in the pool. Your guide will be waiting for you around 4 p.m. On the subsequent game drive you will explore the mostly dry plain with its swampy wetlands. If desired, walk up the steps to the Observation Hill viewpoint and then hunt for wildlife in the reserve, which is home to more than 50 different species of mammals and is also the most visited area in Kenya.

After an early breakfast, it is time for a recommended early game drive - which should start at 6.30 a.m. At this time, you not only have the best chance of experiencing the summit of snow-covered Kilimanjaro and its neighbors, the Mawenzi, without clouds, but you can also look forward to magnificent wildlife viewing. After the game viewing, leave the region and drive past small trading towns and markets to Ziwani. Before you start your afternoon game drive, you can spot the hippos and crocodiles in the pent-up Sante River in the shade of giant acacia trees. Meals and accommodation in 3.5 * to 5 *

After a leisurely breakfast, drive the excellent route back to the regional capital and trading town. Your lunch and a wonderful panorama over the Tsavo area await you at Lion Hill. Then it's time for the 150 km return trip to Mombasa. After arriving on the coast, we will bring you back to your beach hotel, where you can review your safari experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.
